Josh here. I’m a creative director and brand storyteller based in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

  • There’s something strange about writing a bio about yourself. People tend to overstate the good and understate the not-so-good. So I won’t do that here. Instead, I’ll tell you a little story. I’ve always been a bit of a shape-shifter. Chalk it up to being the youngest, chalk it up to wanting to fit in. From drawing, music, and film to fashion, sports, and training, I’ve spent a lifetime trying on different hats. Trying to find what felt right. Trying to be accepted. Looking back on my many transformations, I’ve come to realize that I wasn’t lost, I was just a searcher. That lust for learning, for obsessively taking on as many different sources of inspiration as I could has defined my personal and professional life.

It was only through the insistence of a college guidance counselor that I finally recognized the nexus of all these passions. Pursuing creative advertising and branding freed me from the box I had been building around myself. It allowed me to unleash all the different bits and bytes I had collected over the years and use them as the building blocks for something that could only come from inside me. This sense of total self-expression is what I had been chasing all along. I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t try to fit in. Just be you.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
